Mo's Story

Mo was born at Appalachian Farmstead in August, 2019, and was sold as a yearling to a young family as a companion for another jennet that they had at the time. After maturing and having two foals for that family, they decided that their donkeys couldn't be accommodated in their immediate future plans, so I happily accepted Mo back at our farm into our group of brood jennets. Mo is by our Senior Herd Sire, four-time ACOSA National Champion Jack, WLDF Tin Roof Sunday, and out of a wonderful jennet which we raised, Farmstead's Matilda Faye. Mo is in foal to a very nice dark brown NLP jack named Dee's Little Vinnie, and we are hoping for a beautiful foal from Mo in February or March, 2026.
