Rona's Story

Rona is the first of two foals born at Appalachian Farmstead in 2020. Given the fact that our world was in the midst of the CORONAVIRUS pandemic, we felt that Rona would be an appropriate name for this cute little brown girl! Rona's mother is our top spotted show jennet, Farmstead's Molly O'Day, three time ACOSA National Champion Jennet and ACOSA High Point Jennet in the Nation in 2016. Rona's father is our NMDA red multi-champion jack, Country Music's Rusty Weir. Rona has the conformation to do well in the show arena, but she also has the sweet disposition to be someone's best friend as a pet.
